The Barbara Chambers Children’s Center is an NAEYC-accredited comprehensive child care and educational facility. The Center offers bi-lingual (English-Spanish) programs for young children and their families at five locations in Washington, DC.
BCCC provides educational programs to children of ages 2 months through 12 years. Our infant and toddler programs welcome children as young as two months old; we accommodate those of age 3 through 5 in one of our seven Pre-Kindergarten classrooms; we also provide enrichment and homework assistance to children ages 6-12 who attend area public schools..
We offer a family-like environment, with long-term faculty and staff, and many multi-generational families attending our Center.
Unique within the city, we freshly prepare all meals from scratch in our kitchen, enabling us to implement the best practices in nutrition and education.
