AGE APPROPRIATE ACTIVITIES: The Barbara Chambers
Children's Center has a commitment to develop appropriate curriculum activities for each age group, planning daily, weekly
and monthly activities in which children may feel both comfortable and challenged to grow. The activities provided for each
group meet that age group's developmental skills and needs, fitting in with the BCCC philosophy, as well.
PLAYGROUND
ACTIVITIES: To provide a better learning opportunity for our children, the BCCC works from individual classroom schedules.
The BCCC facility has a large playground fully equipt to meet the needs of children's physical activities. There is extra-curricular
gardening during the spring and summer seasons, with the children being encouraged to participate in setting up their own
gardens.

|
BIRTHDAY PARTIES: BCCC celebrates the birthday of
each child on the third week of every month from 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. To the parents whose children birthday fall in the
month, we ask to contribute to the celebration for cake, ice cream and small gifts. Parents can also help with the decorations
and other arrangements that may be necessary.
